Well done to 3rd class girls who took part in the Sciath na Scol ‘Peil Faoi Dhíon’ in Ballinacarriga yesterday.
Peil Faoi Dhíon, or indoor football uses Pella posts, 5ft rings that are fixed to the end walls at approximately the same height as normal basketball nets. The games remains as true as possible to Gaelic and Ladies football with a few rules changes such as; all back and side walls are in play. This allows for a fast flowing fun game.
The girls very much enjoyed their day out showing great teamwork and spirit.
