3rd class have been working so hard on their Equality Awareness project for Irish Aid with Ms Forristal. They spent the past few weeks discussing the Global Goals to help promote equality for all. In groups, they each chose a goal that was important to them and they worked on a project to help promote these changes in order to make the world we live in a better place. They developed many skills and qualities in doing this project including leadership, team-work, collaboration, creative thinking, understanding and empathy towards others. The children submitted their project in the hope that big changes will be made in the years to come to promote equality for all, and safe in the knowledge that we are all key components in making these changes happen to make the world a better place for all living things.
