To continue on from the great FEAST “Food for Thought” workshop last week, 6th class went on a field trip on Monday November 21st to Clonakilty. They started their trip with a visit to Clonakilty Black Pudding Visitor Centre. They were then welcomed to the biodiversity garden by Clonakilty Tidy Towns which is an attractive space for the whole community to come together. From there they met with Olive from The Olive Branch Health Food Emporium & Twig Refill Shop to chat about how we can be more sustainable in our everyday lives.
