Community Help - Thank You
The Biodiversity Garden is such a wonderful asset to the school. The generosity of time, materials and labour from locals is incredibly appreciated.
Our greenhouse is now fully operational with the raised beds beautifully made and donated by Niall McInerney. We have lovely planting containers thanks to Declan Cullinane. Cathal Dinneen donated stone for inside the greenhouse.
Thanks to Colin Griffin who donated and installed our rain water collector. We now have access to water and handwashing facilities in the garden itself. Thanks to Michael Lynch for the wash basin. Thanks to Kevin Collins and Clive Cahalane for connecting the water.
Thanks to Karen & Alan Long for their very generous donation of topsoil.
Thanks to Bandon Coop for providing us with garden equipment.
Thank You to Jim Foley, Arkil for the donation of stone and Alan O’Leary for delivering the stone to the garden.
When the road works were taking place at the end of June 2021, Bernard & Mike O’Brien were very obliging and incorporated a footpath to our Biodiversity Garden inside the wall. Arkil sponsored the tarmac on the path. Thanks to Cathal Dinneen, Jim Foley and Valerie Burns for their work in co-ordinating this wonderful addition. The wildflowers are such a wonderful sight on entry to the village.
