Together with Timoleague Community Playschool and Timoleague Tidy Towns, we undertook to plant daffodil bulbs in a public space within our community in the Daffodil Challenge initiative with support from Valerie Burns and Cllr Paul Hayes. When in bloom, we agreed to prepare them for sale, with all proceeds being forwarded to the Irish Cancer Society. 2nd and 3rd class planted the bulbs in October 2021 and 6th class harvested them and prepared them for sale on Wednesday March 23rd 2022.
