Launch of fundraising for the Green Project by parents and members of Timoleague Community.
It is welcome news that work will be carried out on our Community Green in the next few months. This work will ensure that the green area is fit for purpose for longer periods. We are delighted that the Festival Committee is generously giving all proceeds of this year’s festival to the project. The community was also successful with grant funding from Cork County Council. However, there will be a short-fall, and we are hoping to raise some funds for this project.
We are going to have a launch on the 16th of June 2024 with a photographic exhibition, coffee morning, and raffle in Timoleague Community Hall between 12pm and 2pm in aid of the regeneration of The Green. Many more photos have been added since last year so a lot more material to go through.
We would be very grateful to get access to more photos if anyone is willing to share them. All photos can be scanned, and the originals will be given back to the owners. Photos can be given to Cathal Dinneen or Sheila McCarthy.
