Our school was one of a hundred lucky schools across the country to have successfully applied for an Investigate Woodlands (IW) workshop from LEAF Ireland in conjunction with Green-Schools. These workshops are kindly supported by the Department of Food, Agriculture, and the Marine. The aim of the IW workshop is to give our students a practical experience that will generate a genuine interest and connection with our trees and woodlands. The workshops are fun and hands on! 2nd and 3rd class travelled to Courtmacsherry Woods for 2 separate workshops on Tuesday November 22nd.
