All of the 3rd Class pupils were presented with certificates on Monday May 29th after they got the fantastic news that they were successful in their recent Our World Irish Aid Awards submission for Equality Awareness.
The Our World Irish Aid Awards team completed the difficult task of selecting pieces from all corners of the country to feature in Issue 2 of the digital Global Goal Getters magazine. They said the standard was very high but they were delighted to inform us that the impressive submission from 3rd Class, 'We are all Equal!', is to be included in the first Global Goal Getters issue for 2023.
The top entries from the Global Goal Getters magazines will now be selected and compiled into a printed Annual edition.
Congratulations again to all of 3rd Class & Ms. Forristal who put in a huge effort in participating on this project. They discussed at length the issues that mattered to them and put a lot of time and effort into choosing the Global Goals that they felt were most important to promote. They used their creative minds to submit a fantastic project which has been justly rewarded with qualification for the Global Goal Getters magazine.
