We have been lucky enough to secure a place with Marine Schools. Marine Schools takes advantage of Cork’s Blue Flag beaches and offers a memorable hands-on learning experience for children as part of their school day. Led by Cork Nature Network ecologists, children learn about tidal ecosystems, how to identify flora and fauna living on their local beach, and how to use the beach in ways that preserve the habitat for the amazing web of life that lives there.
5th & 6th class will be travelling to Inchydoney Beach on Monday May 20th where will learn about tidal habitats and marine ecology before setting off to explore the exposed rock pools.
