Our trip to Limerick is fast approaching on Thursday May 23rd.
Mrs Gleeson and 3rd class’s project is named "How Wonderful is Our Solar System?" The class is gathering research on all the planets in our Solar System and experimenting with Lego to create a model of our Solar System.
6th class will be presenting their project 'We Want your Waste'. They presented their project in the RDS earlier this year and were given fantastic feedback on how relevant and interesting their project was. Their project investigates renewable energy in a farming community. They investigated what is needed to create anaerobic digestion and what the bi products are. They built a mini anaerobic digester which created gas. 6th class researched how this gas could be used in a local community. 6th class look forward to presenting and showcasing their project in Limerick.
