Timoleague Educational Garden is an exciting GIY (Grow It Yourself) Community Classrooms initiative partnership of Timoleague National School, Timoleague Tidy Towns and the wider community!
Such an exciting time for anyone, of any age who wishes to get involved in the community garden to share your knowledge, or learn new skills of planting veg, trees, making a raised bed from scratch using different materials, making coldframes, furniture, bird houses and most importantly afterwards some tea and chats! This is your community space to share your ideas and skills to all of us who would like to learn more.
On Wednesday February 22nd, our cabin arrived. This was generously donated to us by Spacecab. It is fully insulated with 4 windows and 2 doors. It has had the flooring, roof and electrics replaced. The external walls of the cabin will be cladded with larch to help it blend into the surrounding area. We are extremely thankful to Spacecab for their generosity. Thank You to David Nixon for transporting the cabin.
