Thanks very much to Sharon for presenting the Green Schools Committee with our Tree Planting Certificate. As part of our installation Renewables Ireland funded and planted 10 trees on behalf of Timoleague National School.
The Irish tress will be distributed equally at forests sites around Ireland. Additionally for every tree planted in Ireland at least one other will be planted at biodiversity hotspots around the globe through the Eden Reforestation Projects.
Our solar panels continue to be monitored by our Green Schools Committee. They are planning on initiatives to reduce the load we are using from the grid and monitoring the amount of solar generated energy being produced for the school.
