5th class are undertaking a science project on Water Quality in our Locality. They took samples and tested them from 11 different locations in Timoleague. They tested at high tide, low tide, before and after stormy weather etc.
During Science Week, they connected with The Water Forum and their presentation on "Keeping Our Waters Clear".
Oisín Coakley, from Teagasc, went through the results with the class in December 2021.
They have just published their results- document attached.
They presented their project and results to judges at Science Blast, Primary Fair @ Young Scientist and YEA Awards in March 2022.
