Delighted to have received our certificate today for our participation in the SECAD Partnership CLG Wild Work Programme.
The report really acknowledged all our work and some lovely suggestions that we will tackle in 2024. More information to follow.
"The school is very much involved in engaging its pupils with activities above and beyond the scope of core curriculum. Activities in recent years include things like carrying out local history projects, involvement with the Active schools flag, 6 years of Pieta’s Amber
flag for mental wellbeing, and working with green schools programme since 2012. The school is currently pursuing their sixth green flag."
"The school sits on a small piece of land but makes excellent use of what they have. The garden space on the school ground is packed with various plant species and is designed like a rockery giving it much more space as it scales vertically."
