We are thrilled to learn that BOTH our projects are through to the online finals of ECO-UNESCO’s Young Environmentalist Awards 2022! The judges were extremely impressed by “Our Local Water Quality” project by 5th class & “Wildlife Pond” project by 6th class when they presented to the panel of ECO-Experts last month. The online ECO-UNESCO YEA Awards will take place on May 19th. A superb achievement for the classes and the school. Congratulations to their teachers Mairéad Crowley, Claire O’Connell, Anne McCarthy, Nicola Gleeson & Helen Crowley for their work & commitment to the project and the presentations. Thanks also to Valerie Burns for her guidance on both projects.
